Detective Sergeant

Detective Sergeant Powers graduated from the 160th Police Academy and began his law enforcement career with the Bethlehem Police Department in 2012. He joined the Littleton Police Department in 2016, where he has continued to serve with dedication and distinction.

Before entering law enforcement, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, completing four deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

During his tenure with the Littleton Police Department, Detective Sergeant Powers has held a wide range of assignments, including Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Task Force Officer, Patrol Supervisor, and his current role as Supervisor of the Detective Division. He has been recognized with numerous departmental awards and was named Officer of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2023.

Outside of his professional duties, Detective Sergeant Powers enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and coaching youth soccer. He takes pride in being an active member of the community he is honored to serve.
